What is the Galvanized Pipe?

Steel pipes which have been coated with a protective zinc layer to ward against corrosion and rust are known as galvanised pipes. Before 1960, galvanised pipe was often used in the construction of residential buildings. When it was first developed, galvanised pipe served as an alternative to lead pipe for use in water supply lines. Lead pipe was more common at the time.
